Based on reports from other observers 8artsobservasjoner.no) we have about 10 000 Pink-footed geese in our area at the moment! There are also a few reports of Barnacle geese among the Pink-footed geese.

The “goose-season” has started and we do have about 3 000 Pink-footed geese in our are at the moment. According to observers in Denmark and south part of Norway, the number of geese will start to increase during this day….

Status: Nord-Trøndelag

Busy days here in Nord-Trøndelag at the moment. All of the Svalbardpopulation is now staging in our areas (less than 500 birds back in Denmark, and only a few hundred in Vesterålen).
